This is a very important qualification for anyone wishing to drive a boat on our site and it is one that is nationally recognised for most lakes. It includes I.C.C. (International Certificate of Competence) a recognised qualification for European Waterways.
We are an approved centre for Ski Boat Drivers Awards and run courses frequently throughout the summer season. There are no prerequisites, as we are able to teach boat driving techniques to complete novices to competent drivers. All individuals must be competent swimmers.
Courses generally last for one full day or two half days and incorporate practical driving assessment, theory and examination. The course can take place in your own boat or our club boat.
Cost: £275.00 (including all licenses fees)
Additional Cost: Annual BWSF Membership.
